Each year, nearly 20,000 residents from Polk, Warren, and Dallas counties participate in Metro Arts Education through ArtSmart, GreenArts, Metro Kids, and GreenArts Outdoor and Active Summer Program.
Access to the arts for youth, particularly through the education system, is a key goal for Metro Arts Alliance.
Our programs ensure that the arts are part of a complete education. Beyond nurturing artistic talent, the programs also help develop critical thinking skills necessary to a child’s future success, and build future audiences who will sustain arts appreciation.
